Cinema of Small Nations Competition 2019 – Feature Films

12 feature films have been selected to participate in the first edition of the Cinema of Small Nations Competition to be held at the fifth edition of Valletta Film Festival. The selection is a mix of fiction and documentary films from Albania, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Slovakia and Slovenia.

The selected titles will be screened at Valletta Campus Theatre in Valletta. An international jury will  adjudicate the films and award them prizes for Best Narrative, Best Documentary and the HSBC New Talent Award with a cash prize of €3,000.

All films are also eligible for the Valletta Film Festival 2019 Audience Award.
