‘To My Little Turtle’ (Sħab) by Martin Bonniċi (Malta)
An old Maltese farmer is mourning the death of his wife while still trying to fulfill her life-long wish of rising above the clouds and looking down on the surrounding white. He does this, on their anniversary, as his own struggles and thoughts of regret push him to take a leap of faith.

Valentin and Grégoire are two totally opposite brothers lost on the road of their absurd dreams. In two days, they have to go to Amsterdam. Greg for a DJing contest, Valentin to bring back kilos of marijuana.

‘The Golden Watch’ by Andreas Westerberg (Finland)
Factory workers perform their duties on a conveyor belt deep in concentration. Piece after piece is added until a coffin is constructed. The last worker inspects the coffin and then lays down in it. Just before the lid is closed he is given a gold watch. The coffin is taken out.
‘Demontable’ by Douwe Dijkstra (Netherlands)
War is waged on the kitchen table while a man drinks coffee. The world’s on fire. Helicopters shred his newspaper, a drone fires at a plate of broccoli. Démontable is a playful film on the absurd relationship between daily life and global news.
